Dr Read has given some very informative talks at past PRAWI information days (some of these are available on video from PRAWI).Information about the new book 'Coming off Pyschiatric Drugs' by Peter Lehmanni is on the Recommended Books page. Successful withdrawal from neuroleptics, antidepressants, lithium, carbamazepine and tranquilizers. This book is available from Anna de Jonge, 65 Tawa Street, Hamilton, New Zealand at a cost of $45.00 NZD.
Information about The Partnerships towards Recovery conference in Melbourne Australia can be found on the events page. Dr John Read is one of the keynote speakers. Also PRAWI member Abra Ashleigh will be giving a 10 minute poster presentation on how patients who choose not to take drugs can be supported to achieve recovery.
